On the Water

Balboa Yacht Club embraces its competitive racing heritage. Whether it’s large boats or small boats, local to the bay or crossing oceans, we’re serious about racing. Our members have sailed in the America’s Cup, the Olympics, and Transpac. Not to mention our own club-sponsored regattas: Sunkist, BeerCans, Twilights, Long Point, and more. BYC is the host-club for the Governor’s Cup, the oldest and most prestigious youth match racing regatta in the world.
