Balboa Yacht Club is, first and foremost, a boating club. Since our founding in 1922, we have built a proud reputation as a strong contender in sailing races and regattas, while also supporting an active Cruise Fleet and some of the top anglers on the West Coast.

We welcome individuals who share a passion for life on the water. Prospective members are encouraged to own a boat or maintain an active interest in boating. Membership comes with the expectation of participation—whether that’s getting out on the water, supporting club events, or contributing to one of our many committees that keep the Club thriving.
