All sailors and families are encouraged to attend the Awards Banquet on Friday, August 8th at 6:00pm.

Family fun night - July 15th
Come down for a fun evening with the family. The event begins at 6:00pm and ends at 8:30pm. You can all go for a sail, play games, have tacos, meet other sailing families, and enjoy the atmosphere at Balboa Yacht Club.

Sabot + Opti Joint Racing Program
Development Team: C2/C3 & Green Fleet
Race Team: A/B/C1 & Champ Fleet


This program is intended for sailors that want to sail both Sabots & Optis during the summer program. Sabots will run Monday - Thursday and Optis will run Wednesdays and several weekends. This program includes all Sabot & Opti SoCal practices, clinics, BBF races, and weekend races.
 

You need your own boats for this program.

To join our Sabot Development team you need to first complete Learn to Race Level 2. The development team races in regattas starting in C3 and progressing to C2. Once sailors move up to C1, they move into our Race Team.

Our ILCA team is a High Performance Program. Sailors in this program will compete in major regattas around SoCal, USA, and Internationally. 

All events out of SoCal will be an additional cost.

Development Team - CFJs and C420s
Race Team - C420s (can jump into CFJ Nationals)

To join our Double Handed Development Team you need to first complete Learn to Race Level 2. The Development Team practices starting June 16th and races starting June 19th in CFJs. Once sailors move up to the Race Team they focus on C420s.
