Social Sailing
Ages
: 8 -14 years

More information  Registration

This class is an alternative to our racing pathway. It is for sailors that have completed Learn to Sail and Learn to Race, but prefer not to race in Regattas. This program teaches sailing through fun games (sponge tag, scavenger hunts, relay races) and focuses on overall seamanship. Social Sailing will also go on different field trips around the harbor. Sailors can stay in this group for as long as they need. The class uses CFJs, Sabots, Open Skiff, Optis, Harbor 20s, and paddle boards.

*BYC provides the Boats or you can bring your own Sabot, Opti, or Open Skiff
