Junior Board Application 2023

Throughout the year, Balboa Yacht Club Juniors travel to regattas up and down the West Coast and nationally. Youth sailors compete in US Sailing and Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association (SCYYRA) sanctioned events.

• SCYYRA (Southern California Youth Yacht Racing)

  Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association Balboa Yacht Club Junior Sailors are very involved with sailing US Sailing, SCYYRA and PCISA events throughout the year. Sailors attend multiple class events such as the Perry Series in C420s, the Shadden Series in CFJs, and the North and Dick Sweet series in Naples Sabots.. Youth sailors from Balboa Yacht Club have an extremely active sailing calendar and attend events almost every weekend throughout the year.
